Franklin Lakes Real Estate Market Update

As of today October 1, 2007

There are currently 114 active listings in Franklin Lakes.

There are 18 properties under contract.

From 7/1/2007 to 10/1/2007 there were 32 properties sold.

(There were only 10 of 32 sold under $1,000,000)

Simply put we are looking at approximately 10.5 months worth of inventory.

A year ago today

There were 155 active listings in Franklin Lakes.

There were 39 properties under contract.

From 7/1/2006 to 10/1/2006 there were 38 properties sold.

Approximately 12 months worth of inventory.

I believe we are in a better position than a year ago, homes are taking less time to sell 10.5 months versus a full year. The higher end homes are seeing increased activity.

Hi - I am originally from Bergen County,NJ - now located in Cape Coral,FL - I believe that is great news to hear that your market is improving cause all of those buyers and sellers love Florida for a second home so that means our market should start to see a turn about!!
