Cary, NC: Troon entrance

Troon Village couldn't be in a better location in Cary, NC!  From this condominium complex, you can walk across the street to Trader Joes, Staples, and several other retail services and restaurants.  Just down Kildaire Farm Road, all sorts of retail and services exist, as well as Western Wake Medical Center.  The community is bordered by Wimbledon, a beautiful Cary subdivision that ensures a quiet neighbor.  There is no street access into Wimbledon, so the communities do not create undesired through traffic for each other.

Convenience and easy living are the watchwords at Troon.  The Home Owners Association handles all exterior building and grounds maintenance, including the common areas and the community pool and clubhouse.  Dues start at about $160/month for smaller units and go over $200/month for the largest homes.

Property taxes tend to be just over 1% of the assessed tax value.  I posted a discussion of taxes, and a link to the Wake County Revenue Department for further information.

Schools are administered at the County level, and kids who live in Troon go to great Wake County Public Schools in Cary.  Farmington Woods Elementary School is within walking distance!

Mike,

Those are some nice looking condos - I bet they are popular with working professionals who don't have the time for yard maintenance.

Rita,

I think the condos are well-appointed and appeal to folks who want to enjoy their home without any worries about exterior maintenance.  It may well appeal to the 55+ community crowd...
