9-11, what does it mean to you?  How do you remember 9-11?  DId you realize it was 9-11?

I think about 9-11 all the time.  I am so thankful for all the brave men and women who serve this great country of ours and offer up the greatest sacrifice of all, themselves.  I appreciate all the families of those who have given up so much.  I am thankful for their conviction and love for us all.  I was working the LA county fair.  That day just happened to my day off and I was at home.  I was awaken by a phone call.  My boss was calling me to turn on the news.  It is a day I will never forget.  My heart and love goes out to anyone who was personally affected by that day.  (we all were in one way or another, but I mean lost someone).  That day I developed a whole new respect for the police and fire fighters and all that gave of themselves to help rescue others, thus putting their lives on the line.  God Bless them all.

Please let me know your thoughts.  Peace be yours today.

I remember waking up to total chaos.  I have many relatives that are state workers and called to tell us that all the state buildings have been evacuated.  I remember turning on the TV and seeing the Twin Towers right before they collapsed.  6 years later, it still hurts.

My husband was a grave yard worker at the time and I remember being up checking messages dressed for the day.  I don't happen to be one that turns on morning television and my husband walked in and told me that a plane had flown in to the world trade center.  We turned the television on just as the second plane flew in to the second tower.  It changed our world forever, didn't it?  6 years later my son is now in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst and getting ready to take his second tour of Iraq.

It was a very very sad event.  We had a moment of silence today at our team meeting.  Our hearts are with the families.  We will never forget!

Chris, I can too.    Thank you

Marchel, That would be scary.  God bless your son.

Valarie, That is a great thing.  We will never forget.  Take care.
