Ten years ago come Tuesday - September 11,  Charlotte Fimiano, a Weichert Realtor had met someone at a listing in the Lehigh Valley on, at the time was 'pretty normal' type call-in. Someone had called the office in Bethlehem PA, and wanted to see a $259K house at 2147 Chelsea Lane in Saucon Valley PA.

She was shot in the head and strangled..... murdered. Police found her body on September 12, sometime after 7:00am.

I was not in the 'Real Estate Biz' at the time, but remember the case, the press.  It made national news. Shortly thereafter, many Realtor Brokers began safety seminars and classes.

Charlotte Fimiano was 40 years old, married to Christian Fimiano, and had a daughter named Christie.

Her killer or killers have never been found.  Weichart had posted a $100,000 reward at the time of the murder... but as time moved on, withdrew the reward.

None of us in the United States and perhaps around the world will forget 9-11, the NYC terrorist attack.  Of course not.

And many of us will not forget the brutal murder of a Realtor, just 'doing her job',  showing a very nice house in the Lehigh Valley.  There is no connection to the two events other than tragedy, and in the case of '9-11', we know who did it and 'why'.

If anyone does have information that can help solve the murder case of Charlotte Fimiano, please contact your local authorities.

The story has been written in the local newspaper, The Morning Call.

Please call Robert Egan of the State Police in Bethlehem, PA at 610-861-2026 if you have ANY information, or simply call your local authorities. Bring the killer(s) to justice.

Rob, I remember reading about this years ago.  Thank you for keeping this in front of people.  There was a case in our area that was recenlty solved simply because a reporter did a story on the victim.  Someone had heard something over the years that helped the investigation and 15 years later, the murder is behind bars.  I hope that your efforts will help do the same for Charolotte and her family.

Rob - I wasn't aware of this.....thank you for keeping it in front of people.  This is sick, ridiculous, & a damn shame.  That's all I have to say.....

We have had the samething this year in Bowie MD.  I don't recall seeing anything that they caught this killer either.  Sad world we live in at times.

Rob - it is a dangerous world out there - and safety should always be a concern - I hope someday soon this case is solved.

My mouth fell open reading this.

You know that SOMEONE, SOMEBODY knows something.  I hope for the sake of the family justice is eventually served.

Kim, Jason, Bob, Thesa, 'Grif' -

Thanks for stopping by.  I happened to buy my house just prior to this happening, otherwise it would have been 'just another murder.' (Is that sad or what).

Now that I'm in the Real Estate 'game'... it hits closer to home.  Yes we live in a dangerous world, always have.

It seems Realtors are taking more precautions with Open Houses (having a second party around) and going on home showings. Every Realtor should have a 'security plan' when showing a house. Cell phones, mini-alarms, mace, whatever....... and ALWAYS tell someone where you will be prior to going.
