Last Year on Edisto our beachfront homes averaged in the $1.3 million to $1.6 million dollar range. Last week we had a price drop on one decent home to $999,999. What a Bargain! How Deep is the Buyers Market???
Edisto Beach has been slow to drop it's residential home prices. However, as the rental season comes to a close and the homes that have been on the market for awhile, we expect a decent decline in prices as seen by the rest of the country. It truly is a Great time to pick up a bargain on the Beach.
Where are the bargains...
It depends on what you are looking for in a home. I have prepared a list of homes that are ripe for the picking. These homes have been on the market for a long while and I am hearing on the streets that some of the sellers are ready to take deep cuts. How long will this last...
In our office we don't believe that this trend will last much longer. We have lots of regular client scheduled for a fall showing. They are flying in from all over the country to snap up these bargains. To answer the question of How Long? It is all about supply and demand. Right now we have about 200 properties on the Beach.
