What has made you smile this week?

Three things:

I had an auction on Sunday. Right before we were getting ready to start, an auctioneer friend of mine from FLORIDA rides up on his Harley (I'm in Ohio). Within 5 minutes I had him off the bike and helping me move furniture. He's taking a vacation and riding around the country visiting friends. It was great to see him and was totally unexpected.

Today a friend of ours got into a car accident. The driver of the other car happened to be a dwarf. He got out of his car, looked up at our friend and said "I am not happy". Our friend, being the sarcastic one that he is said "well, which one are you"? The fight was on from that point...

Tonight a friend of mine came by and took my wife and son and I out to dinner and bought some stuff out of my garage. As an auctioneer, I have a revolving assortment of merchandise in my garage that I drag home from auctions. Free dinner, profit on my purchases, and good friendship all make for a good evening.

Being from Pick-Town is funny enough! Are they still saying that?

Or the Patasakla Highway?

Have they paved the roads out there yet?

Yes, they still call it Picktown. I own the domain name for picktownhomes.com. I don't have it active at the moment, but might in the future.

No one can ever say Pataskala. Seems like Pickerington is hard for some people to say also.

I grew up in Pataskala and now live in Pickerington so know it well.

Got to go nurse my sore toe...my 4 year old ran over it with his Big Wheel at full speed tonight. Man, that hurts...

It always makes me smile to play with my newborn daughter. But on a Real Estate note I took 3 listings in the past 3 days. Now I will feel even better when they sell.
