Dear Jim and Maria - since you were so kind to stop by my blog, I thought I would take the opportunity to reciprocate.  Sounds like a crazy and fun time with "the Idol" coming to town.  Are you all going to take a shot at the big time? 

Charleston is a lovely town and the epitomy of southern charm.  My husband and I were there several years ago and loved the old manions and the market was lots of fun.  Enjoy and try to stay cool!

Earlene: Thanks for stopping by.  No, neither of us are vocally blessed so we will stay far away from the madness of Idol coming to town.  We'll watch from afar -- like sitting in our living room watching the news :)

Gary: No problem.  AR is all about learning from and being around great people.  So fun is bound to be what we get!

So are you going? We would love to see you, even if it is on the first couple of nights. And, you know why we all watch those first couple of nights. It isn't for the great singers - lol

Todd: Yeah, we watch the first round of shows for the same reason you do.  But neither of us will be gracing a tv screen :)
