No...it's now a Wal Mart special....it's actually true....residents of Fernandina Beach will be able to "get a break" from our ever increasing property taxes.  Property owners were certainly pleased that the "Fernandina Beach Commissioners voted unanimously to set a "rollback" millage rate for the fiscal year starting Oct 1, meaning its share of local property taxes will stay the same as last year."

Some residents are concerned if this will effect the budget and services. However, everyone seems to be working hard in the city and the county to "crunch numbers" and they are working together to get this done.
