The Lizette Home Office has just been STAINED!

Not in a bad way, but in a fresh new coat of stain/sealer.
I was putting off getting it done because
I would have to take off all the furniture
and clean it.
Two years ago, I decided to do it myself,
so I researched it half to death before I started.
That took time too...and I was worn out after it was all done!
What I know now...
HIRE SOMEONE TO DO IT FOR YOU!
Next : It is best to clean it
with oxygen bleach
(I bought it on the Internet)
I learned that pressure washing ruins
the soft parts of the wood and makes it splinter.
Apply according to directions,
6 ozs. in hot water in a bucket,
sloshed on and lightly brushed in,
wait 10 minutes and wash off with a water hose.
It doesn't harm your hands or surrounding vegetation.
Cleans like magic! Now you are ready for stain/ sealer.
That year I went with a walnut color but always wished it were darker.
This time it is a beautiful mahogany color made by Silkkens.
Also the stain works best if brushed in by hand.
If you use a sprayer you still need to work in the paint with a brush.
(plus you waste a lot of paint and it's messy)
This deck took 5 days to clean and paint and 5 gallons of stain/sealer.
Let me know if you need someone to paint your deck for you.
‘Junior' worked 9-5 every day till it was done perfectly!
I'd refer him to anyone!
But I love my presure washer....and mine is bigger and took one saturday to clean, and the next weekend for my wife to stain it....she used a brush for the sides and then rolled on the top stain....that was last summer and it still looks brand new....I do like the 2 story stairs you have...
