Well, it really is true - you DO learn something new each day! Today I learned that if you comment on a fellow AR's blog and are not logged in, you don't receive credit. Who knew?!!
I love this site and go on and off it several times a day. I really enjoy reading blogs about the business - all aspects of Real Estate in fact, because I always come away with either some new insight or information. The problem, I guess, (and I didn't realize it was a 'problem' until tonight - thank you Judy Kincaid for being so kind as to write me and clue me in!) is that you need to be logged in when you are on the site in order to receive credit for various actions - like commenting on a blog! I was wondering why I kept slipping down the numbered list of Home Stagers!!
Well, I tried to retrace my steps from the past few days in order to determine whose blog I might have commented on. I found 7...there could be more, but it's getting late and I just can't do anymore this evening. I copied and pasted my comments to those 7 blogs and will attempt to delete the original post (as soon as I find out how) and paste in the new one. So, to those 7 fellow ARers, I apologize if I confuse you, I just don't want to sign on tomorrow and find that I am number 124!
I guess these 200 points will help! But seriously, for anyone out there as clueless as me, I just wanted to give you the 'heads up' on this business of blogging.
By the way, have you noticed how the Home Stagers on AR are growing by leaps and bounds? Yikes!!!
Val, if the system won't give you credit for deleting them and then reposting, contact the site administrators and explain the problem. I am sure they will be more than willing to help you rectify the situation.
Getting points for blogging and commenting is fun and it is amusing to note how motivated we can be when rewards are involved. However, the benefits I get from the info that is shared here far outweigh any momentary glee I may experience by having moved up a few rungs of the AR ladder!
