Brea, California ~ Tasty Tuesdays in downtown Brea.

Brea's Birch Street Promenade also known as downtown Brea is now home to the city's Certified Farmers Market. The market is open on Tuesdays beginning at 3:00 pm. to 7:00 pm.

This is a great place for fresh produce, flowers, live plants, and specialty items. Last time (2 weeks ago) I bought some wonderful seasonings and spices from a local vendor. In addition to edibles you can find interesting and unique crafts and gift items. Entertainment is normally part of the experience.

Birch Street itself is an eclectic area colorful living lofts built over unusual shops, multiple movie theaters and local eateries. You can find  something for everyone. Plenty of parking available for all.

Nearby Brea Blvd. is home to the famous Improv, and assorted restaurants including one of the city's newest, The Yardhouse. One of my favorites is Jo Jo's for pizza and pasta.

Brea's downtown promenade is located just west of Brea Blvd. at Birch Street in downtown Brea. For more info call (714) 990-7131.

Lynda - Great post.  I always enjoy sojourns to the Promenade.  The farmer's market is yet another reason to go there!

Marlene ~ Yep there's always a lot going on there, always something fun. It's like downtown Disney at times.

Kaye~ Our sleepy little town of Brea has gone through a lot of transition. Now is's a place to shop and eat!

The weather looks lovely.  I need to make it out to California one day.  And to comment on Jeff's query, I bet you're being read by the public, even if you get no comments.  I've heard stories of agents being read for  months before a prospective buyer makes the initial contact.  Keep it up!

    Hey Maggie,

Thanks for stopping by. When you can, come on out for a visit. You will have a place to stay. I'm about 20 minutes north of Disneyland in Anaheim. Most people know where that is.  My friend Marlene lives south of here and is just minutes to the beach. We both have room for you my friend!

Our area of north Orange Co. has lot's to offer. Nice neighborhoods, good schools and nice environment in general.  Thanks for the encouragement.

    Hi Michele,

Thanks for visiting, I do this silly thing every now and then. It began a couple of years ago with a Rudolph nose at holidays, then it evolved into the revised version at the suggestion of the v/a, he like the glasses. I also have a pirate version I like.  My friend and fellow rainer Marlene Bridges added a santa hat last year, (we use the same va) so I borrowed her idea on that one.

Yep, looks like Craig and I are part of the same family doesn't it?
