This photo was just emailed to me, and I wanted to share it will everyone.
It's amazing how much we focus on how we feel about the war. We are over here all cozy and safe, and some of us support it, and others criticize having our brave men and women in other countries protecting what we have become so accustomed to.
This is a reminder that we aren't the only ones that have opinions and feelings about this war we're continuing to battle. And we might sometimes lose sight of why we're still fighting, but they have not.
The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute to thier fallen comrades. So since they are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq, the one way that they could think of doing that is by taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way they feel.
I hope we all remember.

I don't know how you feel, but I have supported the war ever since Saddam's troops kept firing on our aircraft in the No-Fly Zone and wouldn't cooperate with us as agreed in the cease fire agreement, in our search for the WMDs. There are a lot of other issued that I disagree with the current administration, but the war isn't one of them. I just disagree with the way it is being fought. Go US forces!
Our soliders are the greatest citizens in this country! The sacrifice they are willing to make in order to protect the US and inocents around the world is truely noble.
Roger: We support the war, too. Jim and I see things differently on the way it's being handled from this end, but we both support our troops. And with Jim being an ex-Marine, things hit home a little harder.
Preston: Glad you liked the photo. Our troops should definitely have a voice. Actually they do, but through pics like this.
Daniel: Amen! I couldn't have said it any better.
Sarah: Yes m'am! God bless them all!
Gary: Sometime we do lose sight, but reminders like this help. Glad you liked it!
WOW, that's a great photo. We need things like this to remind us that, that was a tragic day and should never be forgotten. It's easy to get caught up in the day to day things of life and forget about one day and how if affected so many people.
