You know, it just hit me as I was strolling through todays posts and the features; The TITLES always draw me in...like a movie preview. A HOOK. What took me so long to realize this? I am, after all, a writer (aren't we all in one way or another?). I'm not a full-time freelancer (anymore), but a "wanna-be" when I am day dreaming of retirement. Do Realtors ever retire?

So... the next time you begin a post, think WHAT'S GONNA DRAW THEM IN?

I also try to make sure the first four words of the title, which become the blog URL, has keywords in it so that it will get googled better.

That's where my writing is weak...my title...I change and change and they still look funny to me.

Kat:  The title is the headline for the post, just like the headline for an ad.  I usually use "Word of the Day" as the title, People that want to contribute and build their vocab will stop in.
