Government Bailout? Slippery Slope!
Why is the government planning on bailing out the banking industry? What does this mean to the in terms of becoming a nanny state? This is the beginning of the banks being taken over by the government. Why should the government be expected to pick up the pieces of a fractured mortgage industry. Why is it that there is the lament about the lack of affordable housing yet when there is a downturn in the market which brings down home prices we say that the sky is falling? Don't we want homes to be more affordable? This shakeout was inevitable, the market has spoken. Trying to manipulate it will make things worse all around. This is a rant, I am really concerned about the government taking too active a role in picking up the pieces for big business. Had To Get It Off My Chest, Tara
