About Me...In a nutshell, I have over ten years experience working for myself and I essentially consider myself an entrepreneur. I was born in Los Angeles, but I grew up in the Midwest and have that Midwestern work ethic engrained in my blood from my family. I have worked in the advertising/entertainment industry and pride myself on my communication and negotiation skills. I single handedly started a model and talent agency in Indianapolis in 2000 which grew to a successful business with over 500 models and talent, and nationwide clients. During this time of growing my business I learned a lot of great skills that I apply to my real estate career like negotiating contracts, communicating to all parties, (then communicating again!,) understanding a client's needs and then conveying those needs to a particular project, marketing on the internet and copy, making deadlines, and learning how to handle multiple tasks at once.
I worked as a single Mom with no family in state and decided I was ready to move to back to California to be closer to my family and to get back to the beautiful weather and sunshine. I sold my business in January of 2005 and decided that real estate was the career path to which I wanted to commit. I work in producing and casting films occasionally and volunteer at the local film festival every year as well, but real estate is my full time "gig" as we call it.
I work in residential, land, and some commercial real estate. I work for an incredible company that was started in the Temecula Valley in 1971 by Dan Stephenson. Our agency of 165 agents continues to outperform other brokerages with four times that amount of agents in our area. I very much respect and admire Mr. Stephenson not only for his business savvy, but also very much for his philanthropy and his heart. He is the kind of person that understands "you gotta give to get." There is no shortage of examples I can show you. At a time when other brokers are cutting back, my company (http://www.rancon.com/) has hired a full time trainer, taken us to Las Vegas this summer, given away thousands in cash incentives, and most recently took the company for our "Thanksgiving lunch" at Shogun Japanese Kabuki style restaurant. This doesn't include any of the local philanthropies that I know Mr. Stephenson and his wife Beverly support. My manager/VP Tony Rios is a very experienced broker whom I can always go to ask sound advice. I have a great support team in my office at the front of the office, Maria Battista and Diane Tattersall, our corporate trainer, Dwan Torres, our President, Mike Diaz, and VP/Manager Sandy Tyler who work out of the Jefferson Ave office round out the team. I truly respect my owner and managers and am proud to say I work for such an outstanding company. Would your last real estate agent have been able to say that?
